Services

The Northern Indiana Education Foundation is accredited by the Commission on Medical Education of the Indiana State Medical Association and provides a series of continuing education lectures to the medical profession on a monthly basis. Program topics are culled from the local healthcare community. Key faculty members from nearby medical schools are invited to speak at these sessions. Lectures are videotaped and are available to those individuals unable to attend.

NIEF also provides continuing education to other health care professionals and is a member of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the American Society for Healthcare Education and Training. Programming provided is dependent upon client needs, and can range from management issues to very specific technical topics.

Participants at any accredited program are awarded continuing education credit by NIEF,  which is also responsible for the maintenance of records and generation of certificates.
